Early Days
Established in 1993 by the Bottcher family, Wetlander Cruises commenced operations as a well-loved tourist attraction, nestled deep within the magical Gunbower State Forest. After discontinuing service in 2003, the Wetlander face an uncertain future.
Restoration
In 2013, the current owners took on the challenge of restoring the vessel to her former glory. The project took nearly fourteen months and was successfully completed in late 2013.
Today
Today, Wetlander Cruises serves as a local restaurant and functions hub, whilst educating guests about the unique Gunbower wetlands environment. Boasting panoramic views of the picturesque Murray Valley region, Wetlander Cruises showcases the historical environment in which in operates, making the Gannawarra area a destination of choice.
